The Integrated and Designated ELD Toolkit provides guidance to educators as they work with their English learners on developing the language proficiency needed to succeed academically. This Learning Path guides participants toward a deeper understanding of the California ELD Standards (Part II), introduces the ELD Toolkit, provides planning strategies for teaching content and ELD standards, and supports professional collaboration to help all teachers meet the needs of the English Language Learners in their classrooms.
This online course is designed to deepen understanding of the California ELD Standards (especially Part II), provide planning support for teaching content and ELD standards in tandem, and support collaboration among educators in meeting the language and literacy needs of English learners. Participants will engage in three interactive modules that will guide them through a journey of exploration, discussion, application, and reflection.
